Re: Wayne Manor: destiny/steph.
My instincts are on a roll lately. And by lately, I mean always. [Bandit leans into the hand scratching underneath her chin, and Stephanie kisses the top of her black head before letting her go onto the counter to sniff at the popcorn. Enough torture for the moment, she figures. Her poor animals get the short end of the snuggling stick. But the both of them love her regardless (she hopes, she figures). And yeah, it's so much easier to focus on them, even on him, than what she's going to have to face by talking to her family. The grimace on her face says as much.
But, he gets a smile before she rolls her eyes with a quiet chuckle.] You're always going on about that. I tried with dinosaurs, and look at what happened there. [Pulling a face, nose scrunched up and mouth quirking at the edges, she swats away his hand from her chin. But, after a moment, without much shame (aside from the rosy redness of her cheeks), she takes his hand and places it on her cheek, her own hand holding it there for a moment. Her face radiates warmth, and her eyes flicker down for a moment, and then she shakes her head and lets his hand go so he can draw it away. An apology mumbling form her lips.]
