Re: Dream: Finnick & Annie
Maybe it was a dream, maybe it was a memory, but at that moment, Finnick didn't care to think about what it was. It was good, it was happy, and that was all that mattered. He leaned in towards her, feeling her arm curl around his neck, and he had to grin. A moment and he released her enough that she could spin around towards him, his own hands coming to a gentle touch upon her hips, a place he knew well, had held many times in the past.
"I've missed you." Finnick wasn't entirely sure where that had come from, because when was the last time he had seen her? It seemed like a lifetime ago and then some on top of that, and as they floated there in the water, the waves coming in from the ocean tossing them slightly with their movement, Finnick leaned in to steal a kiss from her, sweet and loving. There was no demand in the gesture, just a gentle warmth and affection that was reserved for only Annie and no one else. "You've been well?" he asked when the kiss broke, a hand coming up to push an errant lock of sea-soaked hair away from her face, fingers trailing as he tucked it back behind the shell of one ear.
