This isn't, um, at all comprehensive or cohesive. I just wrote what pinged me. And I hope the name changes, where I felt like I had to make them, make sense and are understandable. It was certainly interesting asking my Japanese professor those questions while trying to avoid explaining why I wanted to know, heh.
