Ridgeway Resort - Thread Comm

When the employees leave their cabins this morning, they may want to watch where they walk. They may very well end up crossing the path of a lion.

The gate to Ridgeway has opened, and for the time being at least, what lays beyond is a rather expansive, and noticeably deserted, zoo. Deserted that is, except for the animals, which have begun roaming through the gate and in to the resort.

Every creature great and small you might think of can be found on the guest list of this zoo. And every single cage and enclosure door has been left mysteriously open. There is no indication as to where all the people have gone, but littering the grounds is the odd shoe, hat, or souvenier stuffed polar bear.

The animals won't go near the guests. The same can't be said for the employees. If they check inside their cabins (or houses) they will find one tranquiliser gun per person, fully loaded and ready for those unfortunate encounters with tigers that so often will ruin your day. The tranquiliser will put an animal of that size out of commission for several hours, but will have no long term effects.

No form of mojo or magic will have any effect on the animals, or the gate.

Employees can walk in and out of the gate unimpeded. However, the gate rules apply as standard. Once a warning is given (it will be impossible to miss), employees will have 2 hours to re enter the resort, or they will be locked out (and therefore inside the zoo), until the gates to the zoo reopen. This could happen in a week, a month, a year...or never again.

MORE PLOT!!

Because Petersen's not done yet, Anna's not done yet. Overnight Friday, the whole resort will start to grow over with vines and thorns. By Saturday morning, everything will be covered. Absolutely everything. The vines will move for employees going in and out of their houses, and when they're leaving the shops & other buildings - but will keep people from going into the shops and such. They will follow Petersen and attempt to close in on him. This is full on Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, fairy tale thorns. And they are EVERYWHERE.

Previous plots (green roses, guest lodge flooding, and dead vegetation) still apply.

Can it get worse? Oh yes, it's getting worse. Since Petersen upped the stakes, so is Anna. (Not to mention she's grumpy at him and Robin.) All vegetation on the resort (except the green roses) is going to be dead by the end of the day. Grass turns brown, leaves fall from their trees, even the flowers and the fruit in the shops are dying. (However, non-fresh fruit and veg are still good, like the canned stuff, or the little fruit cups, frozen stuff and applesauce!) By Thursday night, the whole resort looks like a barren wasteland.

The dreams are still happening and Anna's still pissed. So things are going to get worse. As of Wednesday (whenever Anna rolls out of bed, prolly before noon) every source of water in the resort is going to disappear. Where'd it go? Into the guest suites. Every guest room and the hallways and the lobby will be flooded and will remain flooded. Wherever Petersen walks, he'll be trudging up to his knees in water. (The resort is still covered in green roses too, by the way, that hasn't changed.)

HOWEVER, whenever the employees need water (to drink, to shower, to cook with, etc) the faucets will work for them and them alone (not the guests and not Petersen). Anna's punishing Petersen, not her fellow kidnapees.

MORE PLOT!!

Starting in the late morning, every single flower, berry, fruit, acorn, nut, pinecone, etc in the entire resort will be turned into a green rose. Every single one of them. On the trees, in the bushes, in the grass. Long stemmed, short stemmed, thorns, no thorns. Doesn't matter. They're all green roses.

This is Anna's way of getting back at Petersen. Probably only Petersen, Gabe & Zira will know Anna did it. Although Cas, Dean & Jo might suspect because they've seen the roses Petersen gave her. (which she has trashed, btw) edit: and Robin... he will know as well, but just cuz he's Robin and knows her better than she knows herself most of the time :P

At the stroke of midnight there was a loud pop, something loud enough to wake everyone in the resort up. Anyone that was already up would mark the fact that all the lights went out at once. Those that were not human would notice that they suddenly were: Vampires would no longer hunger for blood but real food and will lack those more than human powers, Angels would feel that lack of Grace, Wizards suddenly became muggles, Demons would feel their evil fizzle, Mutants would feel that lack of mutation.( I know there are a few critters here and there that aren't exactly human, but you get the point. Everything, except the actual animals- squirrels, birds, deer, bears, wolves, dogs, cats- they stay as they are, is human) Even the Nine would find that he's lost his mojo.

While things that ran directly off of electricity would snap off, things that needed to be charged wouldn't lose their power for a few days. The cell phones will last the longest, so the network will still be accessible, if one is careful with that charge it could last them for a week or more, but without means to charge them, those too would lose their fizzle. The hot water will eventually run out, though the cold water will continue to flow.

Time to have a little fun

James had finally decided to have a little fun with his new friends, and take a bit of advice from his old friend, K, though, it was possible she, or someone else was having an effect on him. It was becoming more and more apparent to him that his world was becoming knowledgeable about his little world and were frequently stopping by to mess with him, and now, it was he, himself that wanted to do this. He had to be affected by something.

Regardless, it was time to play a bit of a prank on his employees, and it was Halloween, and he had decided upon costumes. Costumes were slowly creeping through the grounds, finding their ways toward the person each desired to land on. Once they had found their destination they would be unable to be moved, if only for a short while for certain physical needs, then they would only find their way back onto the person they had been pulled from.

He would not make this too much of a hassle, though, and they would be able to be removed fully after midnight the next night.
