Who: Victoire and Teddy
When: Backdated to a week after Dominique arrived, early afternoon.
What: MAKING UP!!! .... and possibly love..
Where: Thier cabin
Rating: TBD
Status: In Progress

Victoire had spent weeks avoiding him and the only contact they had had was when he came to her room and they finally spoke about it for the first time. That wasn't really an event that solved anything, though. He had finally broken down by the end of it, and given her a hug to try and comfort her, but that was all, and the next day they went back to avoiding each other until Dom arrived, and even then. She just couldn't take it anymore. She needed to be near him, to be with him, and unless he told her that he didn't love her anymore in these next moment, which she completely wished he didn't, she wouldn't take no for an answer.

She walked up to the door to his bedroom, and gave a light knock before just opening the door, she needed to see him, and she wouldn't risk his telling her to go away in an answer to her knock. "Teddy?" That was all she really needed to say. If he were to look up and see the determined look on her face and the slightly coy note in her voice, he would be able to tell exactly what she was there for.

Teddy had been sitting on his bed, a pile of pillows propping him up against the wall and the duvet wrapped around him as he watched episode after episode of How I Met Your Mother. It was brilliant! He didn't know how he'd ever survived without tv. If he ever went home, he was definitely buying one.

Looking up as he heard the knock on his door, he was almost surprised to see Victoire there. They had been avoiding each other for weeks, and she certainly hadn't been to his room in that time, for no apparent reason. Raising his eyebrows, he looked up at her, still cocooned in the duvet. "Erm... come in?" he said, noticing the fact that she had already opened the door and stepped just inside. The determined look in her eyes worried him a little bit. She always looked quite dangerous when she was like that; a hint of angry veela in her eyes.

"'Sup?" He knew it was a bit of a stupid question, because he knew exactly what was up with her, but he couldn't think of anything else to say. He wasn't exactly prepared for her to just walk in out of the blue.

She stayed right at the doorframe, still determined, but not sure if she should have just walked in. She wanted to walk closer to him. She wanted to touch him, to hug him, but how could she with what she had done to him. She looked toward the window, avoiding his gaze for a few seconds, before looking back to him, the look in her eye still there.

She then got up the nerve to do what she intended, it had taken a few seconds, but she got there. She walked over to his bed and sat down on the corner furthest from him. "Teddy, what's happening here?" She needed to know. She needed to know if he didn't love her anymore. She needed to know if she should ask for another room assignment. If he didnt' love her anymore, she wouldn't be able to see him everyday without breaking down. To walk past a door she knew he was behind.

Teddy watched as she crossed to sit on the end of his bed. Sighing quietly, he picked up the remote control of the television and hit the off button. This conversation wasn't one to be had whilst a comedy show was playing in the background.

"I don't know, Vic," he said softly, shaking his head a little as he leaned back against the pillows behind him. "It's not that easy to get my head around, you know?"

Vic sighed, but didn't look away from him. She needed him, and knowing that, she inched toward him just a bit. She was becoming even more determined because he hadn't tried to tell her to leave yet, or force her to leave. She moved her hands from her lap to lean on so she was a little closer to him without moving.

A bit of an annoyed tone coming to her voice she answered him. "I need to know what's happening. I miss you, and if you're thinking we shouldn't be together anymore, I need to know, so.... so I can be my stubborn self, and not let you go."

Teddy couldn't help but smile at her words. It had been so long, or seemed it, since he'd heard one of her funny little comments. He missed her too, every minute. She was pretty much all he'd thought about. But it was so hard every time he thought about what had happened.

"I don't want to let you go," he said after a moment of looking at her. He'd let her go off to Egypt two years ago, and he'd been miserable for two years as a consequence. Something awful had happened to her which made him feel sick to the stomach, but he knew he just didn't have a hope of happiness without her.

"Although, I might tell you I want to break up, just so I can see this stubborness you seem so certain of." He smirked. "I, personally, don't think you've got it in you." He felt slightly tense, not sure if it was too soon to tease her, but that was the way they had always worked; he turned serious situations into jokes, and she told him off about it before laughing with him about it.

Vic felt so much better when she saw him smile and she actually let out a sigh of relief when he said he didn't want to let her go. She actually physically relaxed a bit at those words and moved so close to him that he could touch her if he reached out. She wanted to be close to him, and those words from him were all she needed to allow herself that.

Then her face twisted into a bit of an angered look at his second statement before she held out her hands to push him just a tad, even if she was the one to get close to him. "Don't you dare, Teddy Lupin! Only say that if you mean it."

"Of course I don't mean it," he said, catching her hands, his face a little more serious. It felt wonderful to be touching her again. Apart from hugging Dom when she arrived, he hadn't had any human contact for weeks.

Gently, he laced his fingers with hers. "Next time I try to give you a present, please stop me," he said, half teasing, half serious. He had gone over the fact that it was his fault she was even at the spa in his head so many times since that day. Why couldn't he have just bought her a watch or a necklace or something like that?

When he caught her hand in his and laced his fingers in hers, she smiled at him. She missed the way he did things like that. The way he made her forget everything and only see him with just a simple touch. "I hope you don't mean it." She leaned forward only to turn her head before she reached his lips to lean her head on his shoulder to cuddle. She may have been the one to initiate this conversation, but she knew he would need to be the one to initiate a kiss.

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere here without you unless it's to work." She didn't even want to go there without him, but she knew she'd have to get used to things again, and now that she had Teddy back in her corner, it would be a little easier. "You can still give me presents, though. As long as it's not something like that ever again." She used to love the spa, but not anymore.

Teddy sighed happily, slipping one arm around her as she leaned her head on his shoulder. As easily as if she weighed nothing at all, he pulled her closer and tucked the duvet around her as well. "Don't worry," he said, leaning his chin on her shoulder. "I've learned from my mistakes." He would make sure he did endless and detailed research into any presents he bought her in future.

"Knowing my luck, I'll stay safe and buy you flowers, then find out they're some kind of man eating orchid." He gave her a little squeeze, looking down at her. He wanted to see her smile again. They had both been through so much, he wanted to know that they really could move on from this.

He pulled her close and tucked her in beside him. That was what she needed. That was all she needed. She craned her neck so she was still snuggled into his side, but he was able to see her face as she smiled. "That would be your luck, now wouldn't it?" Though if he were to buy a man eating flower, he would be the first it ate. She laughed a little at the squeeze he gave her. They were falling back into what they used to be so quickly. He must have missed her too.

"I'm glad I finally got up the nerve to come in here. I wanted to wait for you, but knowing your stubborness..." She didn't need the rest of that sentence, he would know what she meant. The only thing they had to worry about now was the fact that Dom was in the cabin.

Teddy laughed, nodding. She was right. If she'd left it to him, he would have stayed tucked away in his room for a good few weeks more before admitting that he really did need her. He knew it was stupid when he loved her, but he couldn't shake his stubborn nature.

"I'm surprised you gave in so quickly," he said, nuzzling his face against her forehead. "You're usually as bad as me for stubborness." The whole reason they'd spent two years apart was because neither of them had been willing to give in. But they had grown up since then, even if it was only a little bit in Teddy's case.

Taking a deep breath Teddy gave a small smile before arcing his neck down to press a soft kiss to her lips. It had been a long time since he'd kissed her, and he'd missed it a lot. Still, he couldn't quite surpress the shudder that ran through him when he thought that the last time he'd kissed her, within an hour, she'd been having sex with Damien. Pushing the thought away, he squeezed her again, holding her close this time, snuggled up with the duvet around them. Damien was not going to ruin any more of their time together.

She smiled at Teddy's laughter. She loved that sound more than so many things in the world. When he spoke she thought about it for a moment before she spoke. She knew exactly why she had given in so quickly. She needed him, especially after what Damien had done to her. She knew that Teddy needed to get over it to in his own time, but she literally felt like she had been raped, and she needed the man she loved to help her through it. She even knew it would be a while before she was comfortable sleeping even her Teddy again. "I learn from my mistakes, too." She said quietly. That was all she could say, and it was true too. She had learned from her mistake of letting him go when she was in Egypt.

Then he did it, he leaned down to kiss her, but she noticed the shudder afterward and she lifted her hand to his face, letting her thumb brush the whiskers there. "It's ok, baby. I'm a little weary too."

Teddy frowned, looking down at her as she brushed his stubble with her thumb. "It's not you," he assured her, his voice a soft growl. It wasn't her fault that what had happened had happened, or that he couldn't keep it out of his head now.

"I love kissing you, and I always will," he said, forcing a little smile. He paused for a moment longer, looking down at her, before kissing her again, still softly but more lingering.

She noticed the smile was a little forced, so after he kissed her, she decided she didn't need him to show anything or prove anything. She lowered her head back down to his shoulder, so there wasn't anything to for him to kiss except her head. She didn't need him to kiss her to know that he still loved her. It was in the way he held her, the way he smiled at laughed at her words.

"I love you, and I've missed you."

"I missed you too," he said softly, resting his cheek on the top of her head. He could tell this wouldn't be easy, and he didn't know how long it woudl take for it to feek okay again between them, but he wanted to at least try. He loved her. He had almost killed someone for her. He couldn't just give up on everything they had. He owed the love her had for her to put in the effort and try to make things work between them. Besides, she needed him. He'd known that all along, but he would have been no use to her straight away. He had had time to sort out his own emotions now, and he was ready to help her. He wanted his old Vic back, and he'd do whatever it took to make that happen.
