Julie was up walking around the cabin trying to find something to cook for dinner. The tough thing was, she didn't know what she wanted to eat, it was a toss up between Spaghetti or homemade pizza. She always loved to cook but she wanted something quick and easy. So pizza it was, luckily she already had the pre crust so all she had to do was put the meat on it and the cheese and pop it into the oven.

Walking over to the fridge she began to get out the pepperoni and the other ingredients. She had the radio going and she was dancing as she was cooking. But then she felt a sharp pain and she ended up dropping some stuff to the floor. Then feeling something wet she looked down and the floor was covered with water. It felt as if she went to the bathroom in her shorts but then she realized that her water had just broke. Her contractions were starting and she didn't like that one bit.

She tried getting to the door but it hurt too much and the pain ended up making her fall to the floor. Screaming out she crawled, but the contractions were too much for her to handle. Holding her stomach she began her breathing. When there was some time in between the contractions she tried to get up, she needed to get to the hospital and fast. But it looked like she wouldn't be delivering at the hospital, because the baby was on its way. Rachel was of course at work and she felt really scared and alone at this point as she sat on the couch at least and just breathed.

Matt had just stepped out of his door, thinking of taking a walk and getting some air when he heard something hit the floor, then someone fall. The scream shot him into action, his feet pounding as he sped t Julie's door,. There was no waiting, and he slammed through the door, his power igniting, and the door literally slamming open ahead of him by a moment's grace. he skidded to a halt when he saw Julie there, thinking for a moment he had made a mistake. "Hey. I thought I heard something, are you--"

His words cut off as his eyes went wide. The scene truly registered and he realized what was going on. "Holy Moley." He moved to her side, sliding to one knee as the couch shifted to cushion her more and the air conditioner kicked on, to cool the air slightly. "It's time?"

Julie closed her eyes as she was trying not to focus on the pain but on her breathing instead. This hurt so bad and she wished that she was at the hospital to get that much needed epidural that would help with her giving birth. She couldn't do pain all that well. Then she saw Matt standing there and gave him a sympathetic look.

Oh great, this couldn't be good. But maybe it could be a good thing after all, he could get her to the hospital. That wasn't going to be an option now because she felt as if she could start pushing here any moment. Nodding her head, "I don't know if I can make it to the hospital. My water broke and the contractions are pretty close together." She screamed out in pain once more.

	"I apologize for having to see it so. I had hoped to do so after proving myself worthy to you, say, after at least a few more dates..." He smiled softly to her. 	"You're doing amazing, Julie, and you are, too, Rachel." He spared a smile for both of them, confident, warm. As soon as she started breathing and the contraction came on, he nodded. He examined her private area, and then nodded. It was time. "Tell me when this one ends, okay? When it does, then, and only then, you get to push. But tell me first, when it ends." 	She pushed and he felt the baby's head slide out, sliding into his hands. When she stopped, he nodded. "Now take deep breaths for me. Concentrate on your breathing, okay?" He gently turned the baby just so, and smiled, holding the part that was out as he waited for her to have her next contraction and for it to pass. "You are doing so well, so very well!" 	Matt was gently moving the child, then smiled as he watched her. "You are doing so well." He looked at Rachel. "And you too, you hear me?" He grinned. "Now, when the next contraction comes, don't push, just try to breathe, and hold on. Okay?" She had been so brave, and they were almost through it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
