Who: Logan and Gracey Where: The room she's staying in When: Morning; set a few days before all that candid camera fun What: The morning after a night making sure dreams stay away
He'd chosen to sleep on the couch in the living room outside Gracey's current bedroom, so she could have her privacy, and so that any awkward conversations could be avoided. He could just as easily tell if she was having a bad dream from a room away as if he was in the same room as her. And just as they'd discussed, he'd stayed awake the entire night. She'd only been disturbed by the one dream, and he'd been easily able to change it, to make it a good one instead of a memory he didn't want surfacing for her.
Also, just like he'd said, he could as easily catch up on sleep the following morning. And that was exactly what he was doing. He knew Gracey had been lightly sleeping when he'd dozed off, but that was about an hour ago, and now he was sound asleep. He was too long for the couch, so both his legs were up on the arm, the blanket he was using laying haphazardly across him, the room warm enough that he wasn't chilled wearing a t-shirt and boxers. His glasses were on the coffee table beside him, and his head was tipped sideways, mouth open and almost, but not quite, snoring.
