Who: Tony and Katie

What: Katie has something to tell Tony, Tony has a present for Katie

Tony sat at the same table he had when Katie sent the message. He wasn't quite sure what she had to talk to him about, but it didn't matter that much, did it? He just wanted to see her.

He had her present wrapped up, leaning against the legs of his chair. He hoped she liked it. Because he'd seen the same beauty in the portrait that he saw in her.

He had also picked out a few cookies he knew she'd like. A tall chilled decanter of milk in the middle of the table.

	She'd been running through what, exactly, to tell Tony, ever since she'd messaged him. She had to tell him, but she couldn't figure out exactly how to phrase it. 	Katie couldn't open that present, not yet. But she took it with a soft smile. "Thank you," she answered, though the present was set back down. "...could we talk first?" She took a deep breath, then, eyes lowering for a moment. "Apparently there are hidden cameras all over, recording different things...and broadcasting them for the entire resort to see. I..." She risked a look up for a brief moment.

"Morgan's posting about everything and I needed to tell you before you stumbled across it. I was hanging out with Aiden...we had an ice cream fight."

	He had to take a moment to let that bit sink in. As he did his hands slowly slipped from the table top. "So he kissed you?" Did that mean she didn't kiss him back? Or... He had an urge to sweep everything off the table, but he didn't. In stead he stood up. Slowly. Stalking over to one of the walls he set his forehead against the cool surface. 	Her heart sank as he stood. For a moment, she thought he was going to leave the restaurant entirely, and she twisted in her chair, watching him as he moved to the wall, not sure that touching him right now would be the best idea. 	"You feel stronger toward him than you do me." It was a statement rather than a question. Aiden had been around before he had. While he, himself, wasn't shy about his feelings for Katie. 	"You know." There wasn't a time that Katie didn't know what she wanted, how she felt. At least not that he'd ever noticed. "Katie... 	There was a first time for everything. And this was one of those times. Startled, she looked up, eyes confused. Was he saying...was he stepping back? He'd been so happy when she came in, and she had to ruin everything. Without noticing, her eyes wee filling with tears. "Tony..." He had to know how badly she felt about all of this. 	"I try." He admitted. Wrapping his arms around her tight. Even if he didn't want anyone but her. Hadn't wanted anyone but her for a while. But if she loved Aiden... If Aiden loved her... 	She let him have the kiss, returned it even, before it ended and she buried her face in his shoulder for a moment, trying to compose herself before pulling back all the way. He lay his hands over hers as they cupped his face, but he didn't stop her from sliding away when she needed too. His hands caught the top of the table once she was gone. Steadying himself.

It took a moment or two, but once he was composed, he stood. And noticed that she had forgotten his... With a soft sigh he lifted the present and settled it down in the chair she emptied. If she wanted it... she could come get it.
