What: Pregnancy scare!

Harry had been pacing in his room since the last message he and Hermione had traded. He kept picking up his phone and looking at it every minute or so, even though it would have buzzed if she had sent him anything else. Did she want him to come to her room? Or was she coming to his? He pondered just standing outside to wait for her. But that would seem a little... creepy, wouldn't it? Harry stayed put in his own room, knowing she would let him know what she wanted to do when she was back from the store. He didn't stop pacing, however.

It had been a month since they had been intimate without protection, and Harry hadn't been as worried. The first week he had been completely paranoid, searching all over the Internet about pregnancy and its symptoms, just knowing that with his luck, something would probably happen. The second week had been just as bad, but by the third, he had started to calm down. But that had been a mistake. And now, if Hermione was worried, he was in a panic.

Harry went back to his phone, saw nothing new, and sighed impatiently. Where was she? How long did it take to buy these test things? He hoped they weren't too expensive. He would give her the money for it, of course, not that that was their primary worry or anything. He reminded himself to take some calming breaths and almost jumped out of his skin when he heard a knock at his door. Finally. He rushed to open it and matched her nervous expression with one of his own. "Hi," he said simply, wringing his hands. He stepped aside to allow her to come in. It was the usual, for his heart to beat more quickly than normal and for his palms to be sweaty whenever Hermione was around. But now it was for an entirely different reason.
