Both she and Tony had slaved away in the kitchen of little house for a day and a half. Though she couldn't say she'd had more fun. An entire banquet had been prepared. Enough for everyone that was invited and then some. There would be left overs for at least a week. Everything covered, on aged silver that had been in her basement, that had lay forgotten, polished to shine like new. Their dining table lined and set beautifully.
Hidden safely beneath covered plate was Marian's cake. Seven layers. Chocolate cake, with cream colored butter cream icing, decorated with red ribboned colored icing. Though that wasn't the only desert.
Heather just finished the final touch on the final plate, the setting something her great gran would be proud of. Before she dusted her hands off onto an apron she had tied around her waist to protect the dress she wore. It was perfect. And Robin would probably say she went overboard, but... She wanted things for Marian that she didn't have back home, even if she were nobility.
