Dominique was sitting in the clothes she'd had on earlier for her meeting with Harry, and twenty-three instant pregnancy tests were sitting in various locations around the bathroom. She was leaning up against the wall opposite the door. This was crazy. Was there something which could feasibly cause a false-positive twenty-three times?

She sighed as she put the phone down on the counter above her, hugging her knees. Things were suddenly all too real.

Sirius did not know what to think as he went up the stairs. Dom was obviously ‘freaked out’ and Sirius was not sure why. Was she pregnant? Well, she wanted to be pregnant, so maybe she was not. He shook his head. There was only one way to find out. He did not know what to think about both outcomes himself. After that little chat with his favourite buddy Petersen the pregnancy itself did not sound so bad anymore but he wasn’t sure about the baby. Why wasn’t there a way to become pregnant without a baby popping out of you nine months later?

When he reached the bathroom, he found that it was locked. He frowned. “Dom, are busy in there? Or is this your way to show me that you don’t want to talk to me anymore?”

Dom had forgotten that she'd locked the door before asking Sirius to come. At the voice, she started, but then stood up, slowly walking over to the door. She took a few deep breaths before unlocking the door and opening it. "I forgot that I'd locked it," she said quietly as she opened the door and looked at Sirius, clearly rattled.

She had been the mature one, but now she didn't know what to do, how to proceed. There was no Mungo's to go to here. Everything would have to be done the muggle way and while that worked for most of the population of earth, it wasn't something Dominique was looking forward to. "So. Er. Hi." She wasn't quite sure where to start.

	Sirius looked at the stick in his hand. He guessed that was a plus. He looked around the ones on the floor. It was a whole flood of pluses. “So, positive means pregnant, eh?” Sirius asked, frowning. Otherwise his face was emotionless and besides his heart beating as loudly as the stumps of an elephant, he was emotionless inside too. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Dominique stopped getting her clothes together and listened to Sirius, wiping her eyes haphazardly. That was at least a slightly better idea. "I'm scared, Sirius. That's it. Plain and simple. 	Dom leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. "Thank you. I mean, I'd rather yelling feelings than not hearing any feelings." She had to put that out there, though, because she'd rather Sirius communicate with her somehow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
