Ridgeway Resort - Network Comm

I can't believe I just saw him. Lex Luthor! Yeah, Lex is here. We had an interesting talk. Fortunately he didn't have the kryptonmite ring on him this time around. He reminded me that our lives would be the stuff of legend, that he wasn't jealous of my destiny.. but that he had one two with me, but on opposite sides. Odd, but we did have that talk before I came back here again. Then he went off on some tangent about how even the best of us can fai8l or have faults, that even great heroes can fall. Something about the higher your faith in a person, the farther they fall down when that faith is shattered.

I know, he's full of it. I told him there must be some good left in him, but I would still be ready if he tried anything. I don't know why he's here. He will probably try to buy out a few of the workplaces, fire some people or spy on them. But worst case scenario: like back home, he might also try to set up some kind of 33.1 lab facility again, capture people with abilities, do experiments, and then hire those who were as morally bankrupt as he was. So.. everyone, please be careful. He might be human and not have powers, but he's still dangerous. And obsessive, he never givesd up if he wants to get something or have all the answers in the cosmos.

It's true, I needed a better one, something to give hope, a name that is memorable. The new hero name for me is... Superman. I guess those comics did have it right after all, plus it sounds much better than The Blur

I helped out a guest today. Well, she was gushing a bit too at first, but something she had was broke. I used magic to fix it. That was sort of fun. So if anyone else here in the resort, guest or employee, needs anything repaired? I'm quite skilled in that area. And I won't charge for it either. Completely free. I'd rather get paid, but honestly. What would I use it for when I already make good money for going above and beyond? Plus, I need something to keep me occupied so I don't get bored.

I recently saw my father.. both of them. It was unusual. But it also made me very happy too. I saw Jonathan around the horse stalls. He was.. doing something there. Like cleaning stables, nailing a fence. And then he spoke about how chores keep a man honest. We talked a bit. He said that of all the parents in the world, he was the proudest of me. And that the day I came into their lives was the best day and that.. all the hardships and challenges were worth it, and he'd never regretted it for a second.

I saw the other one a few hours later. Jor-El. He was like the Fortress showed, in the robes, with our family symbol on it. Lara was with him too. We.. hugged. He told me that I was exactly the son he had been glad to have. Said that I made him and the rest of my planet proud, that now that I came fully into my destiny, nothing was beyond my reach. Jor-El did regret not being alive to see me grow up. But he was still happy that one of our race survived, and that he was proud to call me son. It seemed cryptic slightly afterward, about fathers becoming the son and vice versa. And that no matter what, I would always have his love, support, and respect. He impressed upon me that as long as I live to fight for truth and justice, that Krypton would never truly be gone.

My mother... I... she was here, talking to me.

Well.. that was intense. I hope I don't have to go up again Darkseid anytime soon. Or even Apokolips. This place is starting to feel familiar to me once again. It's.. strange. How long was I gone for? Feels like a whole year for me. So much has happened. Ran into Zod again, for one. Faced more criminals. And finally achieved my full potential. And my suit

Everyone else still here? People I worked with? Harry? And Malfoy? Frankly I'm concerned for him, seemed to be developing a drinking problem Cas? Adam? Security folks? Oh. Speaking of, I'm ready to come back to work for the hotel security. But I'm really curious and need to know if anything interesting happened while I was gone.

I missed you so much. I know we may have watched our show, but I actually went back and lived it. But I guess that's what I wanted. Now I can do what I can to keep people safer.

Clark? Are you still a teenager? I would really like to have my boyfriend back, teenager hormone-less.

Uhh.. guys? Lois? Friends? It's Clark. I have a.. problem. As you can see. I'm not at my best. I remember those early years I know I'm far beyond the capabilities of any 8th grader alive, but still far from what I should be right now, as far as powers go. I can still save people and do my security job. It's just.. limited, compared to what I could do before.

I'll even pay for it as well.
