I can't just turn of every fear I have here, Sam. I can't. I've seen too much and I care about you too much to just take her word. I made that mistake before and it cost too much.

There was no one there to warn you before. I... let you down. I don't want to let you down again.

I don't want anyone to have the chance to do that to you again.

I tried, Sam. Now I don't even feel right in my own house and I hate this because I know, if I can't resolve it, you'll feel you have to choose between us and her and I don't want that Sam. I want you to be happy as I am here. I want you to find something meaningful and still keep your family.

I need to be honest with you Sam. I need you to try and understand and not just lash out because it's harsh, and it is harsh, but I came to despise her for what she did. I watched her weaken you and I hate the fact I played into it. You were stronger without her, in my world. Insanely dumb but stronger. It was a daring choice. Poor bastard. Never do that again. So I look at this and see how Dean and Jo understand me, how they make me stronger because they get me and I see her baffled that you're talking to me like this and how can I trust she gets you? Doesn't she know you want your family too and that if we don't talk about this...

Good sex isn't enough, Sam. Does she appreciate the things, and people, that matter to you and seek to help you preserve them? Cause I know what an amazing relationship looks like now and that's what I'd like you to have. If I'm heavy handed I... maybe I've just been silent too long. I'm sick of tip-toeing around you. I'm sick of avoiding you and I don't want to lose the regard I have for you. I'm scared you're walking back into the same trap and... well you'd try and stop me, right?
