... OK. One more thing to show you.

~~Oh Cas.~~ Yeah, I guess that's right, in a way. Castiel was an angel of the Lord, my little brother. Earnest, serious on duty but he had a shy sense of humour too. He was an excellent, dogged, dedicated soldier utterly devoted to our Father.

Then he was given an assignment. He was sent to Hell to retrieve a soul, Dean Winchester. He was successful. Only, things were complicated. Turns out Daddy wasn't calling the shots. My siblings were trying to bring about the end of the world and they were using the Winchesters and Castiel to do it. But Castiel was so loyal it took an awful lot to convince him to rebel and, when he finally did, it was a little late. Lucifer was out of the box.

He was killed. But that wasn't the end. He was restored soon after, by my Father, but he was cut off from Heaven. Still, he fought, trying to put Lucifer back in the box. They failed, the angels eventually left the earth and Castiel's grace fizzled out. He became effectively human. The angel Castiel became Cas, the human freelance soldier. That's who you were talking to.

His whole life is about living minute to minute, afraid to stop or look back or stop in case he just falls apart.

He calls me Feathers.

Oh, I did not tell him of my abnormalities though.

A simple request? Do not hurt him, please. I love you, and what I feel or felt for Tony could never touch that, but I do care for him and would not want to see harm come to him. Just as I detest the thought of harm coming to you.
