I have to agree with leianora on that last line. Love it.
Also, this makes me think of a what if, what Tom did have a vision of Harry or what he would become would he still chase after it? What if Tom and Harry grew up together? What if Tom was born in Harry generation? What if Tom, through a magical accident was thrust forward into the future and went with Harry to Hogwarts?
What if a Horcrux, like the Riddle Diary, gained a body, but lost it's memories? What would happen if that Horcrux turned up at Hogwarts as Tom Riddle?
Amazing isn't it how so many what if's come from one.
I liked it. Especially as Dumbledore realized his mistake.
