WHO: Andromeda and Ted WHAT: An evening together WHEN: The evening of Feb. 1, 1980. RATING: Low STATUS: Incomplete/Closed.
Dora was upstairs playing somewhere. She was almost suspiciously quiet for the time being, but Andromeda kept hearing the occasional thump that meant that Dora couldn't be getting into too much trouble. Andromeda had learned how to monitor what noises were good and which were bad. She figured she'd go upstairs and check on her in about fifteen minutes, but for the time being, she was busy making dinner.
The kitchen was comfortably warm compared to the cold of the outside. It was a rather nice day to have stayed inside, although Dora never faired well with such days. Andromeda hummed softly, listening to some song that was on the radio while she checked the noodles that she had boiling on the stove. It was just spaghetti for tonight, but she had also decided to make a cake for tonight; something sweet was sounding rather nice and she figured it was a good way to coax Dora into finishing her dinner. She had considered contacting Marlene to see if they needed anything else to eat, but hadn't yet.
For the time being, she was mostly watching the clock, waiting for Ted to get home. She figured that was the surest and fastest way to get Dora to abandon whatever she was playing with and come down to eat.
