Crack
WHO: Remus and Sirius.
WHAT: Remus does not want Sirius to see him.
WHEN: The morning of January 16th, 1980.
RATING: Mild?
STATUS: Incomplete/Closed.
Waking up had constituted something of a surprise. It really had only take him a couple of seconds to figure out what was going on; his hair was much longer and was quite matted. It felt almost thinner, which was quite odd and he couldn't explain why that was. It still held a small amount of curl and it was still almost the exact same color, but it was different nonetheless. When he had sat up, running one hand through his hair, everything else became abundantly clear. His wrists were much thinner, his fingers slimmer. Scars still crisscrossed the back of his hand and laced their way up his arm, but everything was distinctly more - feminine.
Slowly, Remus discovered that everything was far more feminine as well. He stared down for what to be a solid minute before hurriedly climbing out of the bed and pulling on the biggest jumper he could find in the room. He shut his eyes, pressed his fingertips against them and tried to think. It wasn't as if he wasn't accustomed to waking up in somewhat... odd predicaments. He had lived with James Potter and Sirius Black all throughout school and one never really knew what they were going to get up to.
Despite Sirius' protests in the journal, Remus still wasn't sure if Sirius was behind this; he could imagine Sirius enjoying a good laugh about Moony being a bird, but the timing of the joke seemed a bit inopportune. Then again, maybe this was Sirius' way of trying to cheer everybody up. That was certainly something that he might do.
In any case, Remus was most certainly not giving Sirius the chance to have his laugh. He stubbornly sat in his room, leafing through one of his books. The spell or charm or potion would have to wear off eventually. He had more patience than Sirius. However, it soon became clear that his patience wasn't going to be the way to win this; he was starving. He glanced at the clock. He didn't hear Sirius. He could probably nip out to the kitchen, get some tea and some toast before Sirius knew he was out.
He got up and slowly unlocked the door, taking care to keep as quiet as he could. That done, he peered out. No Sirius. Opening the door a little more, Remus let out himself out into the hall.
