public, pinned.

[As Sheriff Martin, not long after the Winter Weather Warning is canceled. Post is pinned to the top of the town forums.]

[He posts the flyer.]

In the matter of Benny Williams, there is insufficient evidence to point to an abduction at this time. As such, we are turning our efforts to the area surrounding the BusyBee playground and surroundings (interior and exterior), the point the child was last seen.

Need able-bodied volunteers at the PreK-8 school to assist with the search. Until the State Police and K-9 Units join us, we need bodies. Please dress warmly, with good walking shoes/boots, and bring a flashlight, if you're able. Report to the school's office, where a mobile command center has been set up or come to the police station. If you need a ride, call the SO, or, if you can't help search, we could use volunteers to taxi others out to the school.

Please, no ATVS or UTVS in the woods, and no dogs or children. If you have a two-way radio, we will be using frequency [#].

If you cannot come out to help, supplies are also appreciated. Flashlights, batteries, warm food, water, gloves, and so on are always helpful. We could use others to help continuing to post flyers on the north side of town.

Call 911 with any information immediately. Time is of the essence. Call [SO #] with questions or concerns, or reply here. I'll do my best to respond in a timely manner. Thank you for all your help.

Hookerville: Adam and Eris

Who: Adam and Eris
Where: Hookerville; Eris' Trailer
What: Looking for a job?
When: Just before the train plot
Warnings: N/A

Adam wasn’t at all sure what had him headed towards the outskirts of town, the not so well kept secret about what lay in the caravan of trailers and shacks. He knew he needed money, he knew he was lonely as fuck with Kyle being clearly with Ethan and he knew he...well he didn’t know much of anything. Who else would bother with him?

He asked a question of the first person that propositioned him, a younger girl, closer to his age with dark hair and darker eyes, and Adam almost forgot why he was there, but the way she’d lilted through a little laugh at him made him remember. She’d pointed him to the right trailer and he headed that way, hesitating for a long moment before knocking. He didn’t have the slightest idea of what to say, how to say it, but maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t have to. Maybe she’d know, whoever she was.

[Hookerville Neighbors, Public]

[As Sunshine F.]

[Eris, Leander, Destiny]
I had a guy who brought Christmas cookies with him and then insisted on watching me as he had me eat way too fucking many. I ate one earlier and haven't died yet, so if you want any, come and get some. There's at least two dozen left, and I'm sure as fuck not going to eat all of them myself.

[Eris S.]
You need anyone working over Christmas? I got nowhere else to be, so I can do it if you need.

Hey asshole who took my laundry out of the dryer two seconds after I put it in there and left to get groceries: Fuck you. There were at least three empty dryers you could've used. But no. I had to carry wet laundry back home because I didn't have any more quarters. Way to be a dickface during the holidays. Merry Fucking Christmas.

Police Station: Eris S/Cris M

Who: Eris and Cris
What: keeping the gears turning
Where: The station
When: Monday morning
Warnings/Rating: language? tbd

Eris walked up to the police station, sunglasses hiding her eyes. She was bright and early, knowing that she needed to make the rounds. Doing an illegal business in a small town required certain people to remain happy to look the other way. That meant a pay out. She needed to keep the wheels of the machine greased, by any means necessary.

Skirting the building, she took a side entrance that she usually did, bypassing the front desk. After all, the less eyes there were on her the better. Sure, Hookerville was one of the worst kept secrets in town, but that didn't mean she flaunted things. Flaunting was the quickest way to invite trouble, and she'd had more trouble in her life than she could stomach.

She had dreams for Hookerville, she just needed time to build it up. She smiled as she headed for the Sheriff's office door, knocking twice before trying to door, hoping it wasn't locked.
