Dinah had thought. She had thought a lot about what she wanted to do. What her brother would do. She was given a choice. They let her choose. Choices meant you could change your mind, right? So she snagged a piece partially crumbled paper and wrote something down before her mind flip flopped ... again.

Certainty was never Dinah's strong suite when it came to herself, at least beyond Beckett, beyond survival.

Okay.

The top of a clock was left for Mari at the end of Dinah's shift. It rested on top of the counter along with a very simple, very solitary note, written in extremely simple, almost childlike hand. By the time Mari would find the note, the half dry black pen would still be teetering side to side where it was left only moments before.

Hello. I desire to put this item back together. I am suffering a form of memory loss. It is obviously possible I will "relive" something of which I have no recollection, which, perhaps, might lead me to recall more lost experiences. There are those who are not desirous of attempting this. This, too, I understand. I am but stating my position.

So. These clocks.

Any guarantee the reward is worth it? I mean, there are some things I'd rather not remember.

Has someone mentioned that they have chartreuse? I seem to have a top that is this color and if anyone has said such, I have missed it.

Er, hello.

So if you were keeping a list on me, I'd like it if 'knows when to try to make amends' appeared on it even if 'lets curiosity overrule better instinct' comes further up. Last time we spoke that wasn't about clocks, I asked an inappropriate question, I'm sorry, it was impolite.

I haven't done one of these in a while and after the doom and gloom of the anonymous post, I have pulled out The Judgement card. Okay. So. Maybe it is in tune with anon. Let's see.

The cards suggest that what you most want at this time is a new start - to close this chapter in your life and have a brand new beginning. This is a card of healing.

With Fire as its ruling element, Judgement is about rebirth and resurrection. The idea of Judgement Day is that the dead rise, their sins are forgiven, and they move onto heaven. The Judgement card is similar in that it asks us to resurrect the past, forgive it, and let it go. There are wounds from the past that we never let heal, sins we've committed that we refuse to forgive, bad habits we haven't the courage to lose. Judgement advises us to finally face these, recognize that the past is past, and put them to rest, absolutely and irrevocably.

Perhaps you need to forgive or be forgiven, do something you've been putting off, or have the courage to finally end something that isn't good for you. It is time to move on.
