[There's no way to know it's happened, really. But, the wish is wished. The gold magic dust is blown. The deathdate is set for March 3rd, 2069, for Archie to pass in his sleep. Santa hopes, to himself, that it doesn't change "the timeline" too much. But, then that'd be believing things are set and always set and a matter of fate. Nothing is, except, now, for Archie's deathdate. Hopefully, it provides some solace.

Today is a special day in the realm of alternate universes and potential spacial/time shifts. December 4th, 1870 the ship Mary Celeste was found under full sail without a single living person on board. The last captain's entry was from ten days before, but nothing to indicate any kind of trouble. Popular speculation was pirates...very neat and clean pirates...but nothing was missing other than the people.

Other theories include aliens, sea monsters or my personal favorite: spacial dimensional travel. It's thought that the crew and passengers encountered a wormhole. On the other side was an alt U's version of them and the ship. They were going to swap realities, but the wormhole collapsed after our versions stepped through.

Oh yeah, and Prohibition was lifted this day in history.

Goodness, it's almost August and I meant to say this ages ago!

Because it's everyone's vacation time, and summer, and hot, we have our quarterly free event at the Masquerade this coming weekend! Saturday and Sunday, it's absolutely free for new people to come along and try some LARPing! If you enjoy it, you can then get a discounted six month membership, which also gets you discount in the store!

So if you've ever wanted to pretend to be a vampire or a werewolf or another creature of the night (or day), come along and have a go! All of our members are very friendly, they nibble gently, and probably won't try and lure you to their dens. We have scenes and games and it's nice to just make believe for a little while.

We're open from midday until ten in the evening. I look forward to seeing some new faces!


Also, I had a conversation not long ago with an anonymous friend, and it was gently thrilling, so I hope you're all having a lovely time with your anonymous friends, and finding out who they are and putting faces to words!
