It was loud and it was playful and Leena was sure it was a good idea the moment she'd stepped inside. She hadn't had a whole lot of time to think abut how fun it was though as she stepped inot the booth to hand out skates, make sure they were all working right before the crowd started to arrive. There were couples and groups, most of them younger than her, she guessed, though the young teens were easy enough to spot, sticking to little packs as they moved arund the rink and over to concessions.
And between handing out skates and taking money for the rentals, she kept an eye on the kids behind the concessions stand, and occasionally over at the door. Thugh as her shift wore on, the glances to the door were more frequent, because it was almost time for her to get off (she'd texted Sadie the time earlier) and Sadie was supposed to be here soon. Well, Sadie, and Misha and Damian, the latter of which she wanted to lay eyes on, just to make sure he was okay and doing as well as Misha said he was,
She was busy helping some kids when Sadie entered, a long sleeve flannel covering her arms and tucked into the waist of her jeans, and it wasn't until she was done and they were tying on their skates that she amde another sweep over the crowd and spotted her.
