Don't stop for anything. They were words Nora wanted to live by. They meant she was well on her way out of this hellhole. A nervous flash brought her thoughts back to Gwen and Melody but she tried not to dwell on it. She couldn't get Gwen out but she'd sure as hell get Melody out of this place.
But, she had to actually get out first. When he touched her, her first instinct was to pull away. She even felt herself start the motions of pulling away, but she realized his hand was around her hoodie and not her actual skin so she was safe. Relenting, she walked quickly beside him, trying to keep her footsteps quiet. "Thank you," She said quietly, glancing up at Jason with real, true gratitude in her eyes. "Seriously, thank you."
Looking down the hallway, she swallowed hard and exhaled a slow, practiced breath. "So when I get out of here, any thoughts on the best way to lay low?"
