Julia L/Leena B
Who: Leena and Julia
What: Fixing a generator (again)
Where: Woods
When: After this
Warnings/Rating: Low
When she was home, she ran her generator frequently for short bits of time, using it to charge up her cell phone, to run her little tablet after she’d gotten rid of her laptop years ago. Everything else she had ways around. Cooking, cleaning? Cooking could be done outside in one of her many fire pits. Cleaning? She had the creek for that. Lighting? She spent most of her day outside anyway, but the genrator was important, certainly once the winter months set in.
Dressed casually in a black t-shirt and blue jeans — the ones that fit her better — she headed out to the same spot she had met Julia in last time. The generator was already out of her cave, and she’d dragged it a bit away if only to make it unclear where she was using it at. Even now, paranoia was still a bed partner. And today she was moving a bit slower, her leg not quite aching, but certainly letting her know that she’d been injured as she walked up to the spot, no hoodie this time, thin white scars and thicker circular ones visible on her arms.
In truth, the generator was probably on its last legs, and Leena knew that, but she wanted to see the other woman work again. Or not see, as it was, but watch the efforts of her particular gift.
