Re: log: dietre a. & misha b.
Dietre eyed the sedan as it coasted to a stop in front of him, it was so like the cars his father was driven around in that the sight of it turned his stomach. To his relief, it was not his father’s face that was revealed by the lowering window, but Misha’s. His father likely had no idea where he was, and if he did, he’d never come looking for him.
As usual, there was no smile to greet Misha, but hopefully the boy would not be offended. Well, there was a sort of smile, but it wasn’t Dietre’s. Sieglinde brightened at the sight of someone new, and pulled at her leash in her eagerness to meet him as her master made his way to the car.
“Hello, Misha,” Dietre murmured as he nudged Sieglinde out of the way so that he could enter first, letting her have the joys of being next to the window. The air conditioned interior was a relief, and he tried not to think about the walking they’d be doing between stores. This day might be an ordeal in more ways than one. “...How are you?” Polite, but perhaps a bit more reserved than usual. He did not know if Damian would have made him aware of the argument they had online. Most likely. He had a feeling the pair told each other everything, and though he was miffed at Misha telling Damian he was going on a date, he didn’t plan on bringing it up.
Having lived with an angel for some time, Sieglinde was not at all disturbed by Misha’s inhumanity. Reminded of the being who saved her from the cold, lonely box she had been abandoned in, she happily leaned over Dietre to sniff and seek a pat or two if Misha was inclined.
