[Log: Ash/Dahlia]
She almost visibly bristled in anger and he loved it. It took everything he had not to immediately start goading her on. She was a dense mess of emotions, any one could be toyed with. That said, probably not the best idea in the world. The girl could definitely throw a punch as well as she could take one, and he didn't much fancy a beating.
"Don't sugar coat it on my behalf," He said with a slight smile, "well firstly, you don't need to lie down. That's really more of a thing in the movies. Unless you want to try hypnosis, but.. I get the feeling you're not going to be chomping at the bit to do that." Ash closed the little notebook on his lap and tossed it onto the table between them. He raised his hands as if proving he wasn't armed and slouched back a little in his chair.
"Look, I can make this easy for you, or I can make it hard," He told her with a smile, "We can make a deal, and I can end this session by writing some notes about how we've been discussing what led you to this point and stuff like that, and how I think you're going to make real good progress! Oooor you can leave at the end of this hour and I can say you refused to comply and you'll be shipped off to someone a lot worse than me, or, you know, fail your probationary requirements..." He didn't mean for it to sound like a threat, and though his grin was fox-like, it wasn't malicious.
"You don't actually have to tell me your life story, I don't really care," He shrugged, "Just entertain me with a friendly chat till you're up, we'll call it a day and I'll pencil you in for your next appointment.. How's that? Good?" He leaned forward a little, "We should start with you telling the story of that vicious looking the black eye."
