Quicklog: Dinner and company
It'd taken her longer than she wanted to arrive as she'd gone about meticulously packing her backpack to make sure nothing spilled, ever thankful for the skills she'd picked up as a traveler. Fortunately, what with her upcoming plans, she'd actually started to make some investments for the small trailer and actually had the means to bring everything in one go. For certain, with her weathered pack loaded with the small slow cooker and two entire batches of cornbread (she'd been stressing over getting it perfect), it wouldn't be an easy trek. Add to that the tea pitcher, which thankfully had a handle, and her violin case, and the small frame looked like it might fall over entirely.
Fortunately enough, Sadie was no stranger to long walks and a loaded pack, even with the added liquid weight on her sides. She'd dressed plainly; jeans, her worn out Converse sneakers, and a simple striped T-Shirt since they were finally out of of hoodie weather. All in all, the trip wasn't too bad and she was carefully balancing outside the door before setting down the tea jug and lifting a tiny fist to rap on it and announce her arrival.
