Re: Post party
The hand on his forearm had his growls softening. It wasn't the sun that angered him so much, as the fact that it had to attack his eyeballs with brightness. But now, she was shielding him from the undue assault, and he let out a sweeter, more contented sound against the back of her neck. Such things were easier to enjoy when it was only the two - or currently three - of them.
"Baby," he mumbled. As if he would ever tell her to behave. Strictly thinking, the baby involved in making them three instead of two wouldn't have happened if they were behaving.
And Manning had never taken a liking to society's idea of behaving. "You don't have to. Ever. I like it much better when you don't." When behaving became him sucking and licking sugar off her fingers and wrist at the back of her bakery with no one else the wiser. When behaving went from a night apart to a morning with them naked together. Yes, not behaving was tied with some very fond memories for Manning.
"How're you feeling?" He mumbled as he nestled closer to her, fingers of his pillow-arm stretching out to reach for hers.
