Re: [Cafeteria: Gwen & Dylan]
Real eggs are cooked to make the most of the ingredient. Poached, or fried. You gotta find stuff that goes with them to make it work. It's a component. And scrambled eggs are shit without something else in 'em. [Dylan had done time with Julia and appreciated good eggs. You could do a whole lot with a two-top burner and a double-wide kitchen.
The ex-thing had been about past-tense Doritos, but Dylan wasn't hot on grammar. Hadn't sat through class long enough for grammar. He shook his head when she asked if he knew the guy, because a name like that would survive the military process.] Nah. I've been here a couple weeks. They had me on detached duty. [Which was the clinic off of the clinic where they tried out the juice to start with. A year, of tests on tests and a black-listed experiment until they were sure he wasn't gonna die.]
She's thirteen. She's a little punk but she would want those tights. [Another fork gesture.] Most of what goes down in these labs is secret. Your work a secret, Scientist Gwen?
