Re: [eddie/steph/cat steal a heart]
"Am I ready? I'm always ready," Cat assured the crime-fighting lovers, and this felt like home. Oh, she was young now, but she was still Cat, and she still had those old memories.
Even without distractions, Cat could've made it into that very blue room. She always worked alone. Well, unless she was kicking ass with Bruce, but Bruce wasn't here, and Cat knew perfectly well that he would never be again. So, she allowed herself to just enjoy working as part of this team. Getting in the room was a piece of cake, and it was really, really blue. "You know," she said of the paintings on the wall, "this isn't so different from our current governmental state of affairs."
And, Cat, she wasn't sure about that cap. Oh, it was gold, and Cat did love a good shiny. But this? Too easy. Right? She looked at Eddie, and then Eddie spun his cane after that step inside. But, of course, she didn't get a chance to ask. She didn't even make it to the cap. The room shook, and Cat smiled.
Purrfect.
She had her whip out before the first goon got close, and she took him out with a whip to the throat and a kick just beneath his chin. He went down, and she ensured he stayed that way, at least for a while, with a wonderful bootkick to the side of his head. Goon two? Whip to the throat, a perfect flip over his head, and she tightened the noose until he sagged. Ah, just like old times, and she moved toward the cap as she fought. "If we touched it, will it be even more exciting?" she asked of the cap.
