Re: [eddie/steph/cat steal a heart]
"Remember the good old days when they would just wear rubber masks?" Eddie whispered about the lurking monster goons. They were unsettling the first time he saw them, but he was from New Jersey. He could make anything normal. From murderous clowns to masked crusaders. Anything was possible. After weeks of exploring this place the zombie goons weren't anything to be scared of. It was like a video game, you just needed to know the right technique.
Eddie grinned when Cat opened the door and he bowed politely like he was being allowed into some swanky get together. He adjusted his tie and glanced around the inside the "White House". It stank of self importance. Of history that someone built about themselves to feel strong. Eddie couldn't wait to steal this man's heart. "Distract away, sweetheart. Meow face, you ready?"
Of course she was.
Eddie waited for Stephanie to barge through the door, making a scene with the goons while he and Cat moved through the shadows towards the Blue Room. Eddie had sliced the security for it before, so opening the door took a matter of seconds. Inside, the room was- well blue. The walls had a fresh paint of robin's egg, the floor was a dark navy and the curtains were a glittering gold. There were antique tables and chairs placed around the room and giant oil paintings of the "president" himself on every wall.
In the middle of the room was a sparkling graduation cap. Golden and bright. Eddie took a step towards it and the room shook.
"What terrorist is invading the homeland?" A voice echoed. Eddie turned back to meow face, shrugged and spun his cane. Oh now they'd have some fun. Suddenly, more goons flooded into the room, trying to kill the thieves before they could touch the golden cap.
