Re: [eddie/steph/cat steal a heart]
Cat tucked her own comm into her ear. It didn't appear, but she reached into her utility belt and there it was, and she moved ahead, after giving Eddie a quick nod about making the room go dark. If it was just her? She would've done without, but she didn't want to take risks with her friends if it wasn't necessary. After all, not everyone enjoyed taunting death as a way to feel alive. So, after giving Eddie a few seconds to do what he'd said he was going to do, she ran and executed a perfect flip, one that gave her enough distance to land on the window ledge without too much ground time. And, there, she started picking the window lock.
It took her all of 10 seconds, and her voice was a whisper in the comm before she slid the glass up. "Three men, but they aren't normal. Think zombies and worst nightmares, that kind of lurching gait. Fun." And then she climbed inside. Her job was to open doors, so she didn't bother fighting any of the zombies. No, she snickt her whip over their heads, and she pulled herself along the room's elaborate shelving. She was quick enough not to knock down any of the tall, laden shelves, and she landed outside the door before the men even noticed the window was open.
Next, the stairs. "Clear of the room," she said into her comm, and she checked the transmitted floorplans quickly, not wasting any time before heading toward the double doors ahead. Doors which she suspected would be locked. "Can this place adapt?" she asked into the comm. In other words, would the locks get harder? Would the assailants get more numerous?
