Re: [eddie/steph/cat steal a heart]
Cat tugged up her shirt just enough to reveal the whip looped around her waist, and she rolled her eyes as she did it. "Honestly, Eddie. Who do you think I am?" Her body was younger, true, but by this age? Cat had already joined the military, and she'd already left a daughter behind. And her whip? Was never far from reach.
She let the shirt drop, and she smiled over her shoulder at Stephanie and took Eddie's hand. She hopped to her booted feet, and she whistled appreciatively, and with less restraint than she might've shown when older. "Looking good," she told the blonde, and the hug she gave Stephanie was tight and open, no point in walls with some of the only people in the world who were always there. So, was Cat a hugger? No, but she was much more willing to step into an embrace now, and that showed.
She stepped back, and she allowed Stephanie to pet Eddie's arm. The intimacy was quiet, and Cat leaned her hip against the video game. She was entirely unembarrassed by it, and it was hard to feel any shame about physical things when one was raised in a brothel. She grinned at the two of them, warm and willing to show that she liked them a little more than a lot. "Do you two want a few minutes alone?" she asked. "I feel a little cooped up just now. I could absolutely use a breath of fresh air," she told them, her mossy eyes twinkling and trouble in her smile. And, of course, she needed nothing of the kind, but Cat pushed away from the game and walked to Loot's backdoor, where she leaned and inhaled Repose's Spring air. Which, all things considered, was pretty extraordinary.
She let a few long minutes pass, then she allowed the door to close loudly as she re-entered the space. "That was invigorating," she said loudly, before she even walked back into view. "Hands where I can see them."
