Re: quicklog: abe/sasha apple cart
[The thing was, Sasha knew it was wrong. She knew no one should revel in that violence. She knew it was urged on by her own twisted mind, but also by the fire and blood that fed the loa that had its hands around her throat. And she knew that sitting here with Abe that she didn't want any of it. She wanted this. To sit here with him and just be happy. Or sit anywhere with him. To be happy with a normal life, with however normal it could be considering all of their weirdness. She'd never felt content with wanting that, but right now she absolutely was.
Sasha looked up at him with his arm around her and grinned wide, relaxed and natural like some huge weight had been lifted off of her.] I think she's hoping you'll fling my pancakes before I get a chance to use that whole can of whipped cream on them. Less messy that way. [Snuggling closer to him, she tilted her head onto his shoulder then leaned it back further to pin his arm around her.] How are you going to eat with your arm there? [Not that Sasha really could either with her head at this awkward angle, but that wasn't the point.]
