Re: log: antique store - louis, misha, and damian
Damian, he wasn't never easy, and Misha wasn't real surprised when the other boy put up a fuss. It was one of the reasons he'd delayed in making his pronouncement, on account of knowing Damian would dig his heels in and make himself weighty as marble. And, there Damian was, shaking his head 'fore Misha even finished his real logical talking. "Don't shake your head at me. You're just saying no on account of not liking when you're bossed."
Damian insisted, spread his arms wide and pulled hands into his sleeves as he glared, and Misha just cupped the other boy's cheeks forceful when Damian threatened to use Louis' abilities to keep himself there. "You ain't a child, but you look like you ain't slept since we left this town, and you feel awful. The blacks of your eyes are real small, and you're freezing, and why would I put you through helping when you feel like you do? That would be real selfish of me. You want to see Titus. Go on and see Titus, and I'll visit with Louis some, and we can both come together when you're feeling better." His grip on the other boy's cheeks was still real strong. "And don't go threatening me with wanting to stay. I'll just want you home more than you want to be here." So there.
