Re: [loot arcade; eddie/steph]
[Her question causes an unexpected bubble of anger. Not at her, but at the situation, the world, the teacher.] Not one. [He says, and his voice is shaking because if one of these children could speak out, there wouldn't be a need to visit the man's heart to rip it out.] Not that I don't understand. Imagine growing up in this town? With the rules set in place and the few chances to grow and leave. I'm sure they'd see Jersey and think the same. We all went crazy to survive, maybe this is how a small town handles problems. [Eddie's voice turned dark.] But, it's not how we do.
[Eddie puts his phone away and walks over to his desk, leaning on it.] It's a White House, so he imagines himself as the president. Someone with an infinite amount of tools and power and people to step on. Worse, I think he imagines himself as someone who was elected to this position of power, since no one even thinks about objecting. They all agree he can do what he wants. [Eddie shakes his head.] I need more information and I think we need Cat on this, too. If you and I can clear a path towards the treasure, Cat could steal it for us.
