bar: connie & open!
The town had been weird lately and it made her weird. She didn't usually go to bars, especially with all the slacking off she had to do in front of a tv and video game console, but she was curious about any newcomers to town. She wondered why they were there, if it had anything to do with the facility and if any of them knew her father. Those were all long shots, not things she'd ask someone when she first met them, but still she wondered. She thought that just by looking at someone, she could fill in the lines.
None of that caught the surface of her absent and somewhat jack-o-lantern smile as she walked into the bar. She wore a big baggy coat with a tank top under, warm looking flannel pants and giant boots that almost went up to her knees. Her white hair was a wonderful spikey mess and her makeup was drug store cheap.
Cash was playing and she made a mental note to go listen to records once she was good and tipsy. At the bar, she sat and waved her hand in the air, ordering herself a drink before glancing at the people around. Barely any of them familiar faces.
