Outside: Clementine & Rudy
Clementine, she was of a mind to get herself good and drunk. She figured she was due, seeing as her husband had just shown himself back up, after turning tail and running a month back. And that bit about him being her husband, it was all pointless any damn way. She'd married him on account of her daddy wanting it, and her daddy was nothing but bones in a grave now. Wasn't any point clinging to something wasn't even consummated, and Clementine never did think of herself as wedded.
Sweater off one shoulder, black jeans and black boots, Clementine walked slow from the B&B to the bar. She wasn't a lick of cold, but she didn't get cold, and it was just another one of them things that didn't fuss her any, on account of her not thinking it over none.
She had to work after, but there was time for a drink or two. Or, at least talking to someone, because she was longing some for conversation lately. She reckoned it was the season, missing her sister and not having a real strong place in this town yet. The bar seemed a good place to get to know folks, even if the Roadhouse was more to her suiting. But it was real far off, and she wasn't all that inclined to walk the stretch of road to get there.
Near to the bar, she saw a figure walking. A man, and she rushed on up beside him. "Where you headed, sugar?" Good thing 'bout a girl raised in small towns, she knew just fine how to approach folks.
