Re: Trailer Park: Brett & Sasha
Sasha debated whether to say how lonely that sounded, but it wasn't like she was much on having people around either. She could count the number of friends she had on one hand and still have a few fingers left over. Then again, she wasn't even sure if Cat counted. That was her sister. And Eddie was the closest thing to a father she had, so he could probably be scratched off the friend list, too. Which left Stephanie, and they butted heads as much as any vigilanteSheriff's Deputy and con-artist would be expected to.
"The lake sounds nice." She did like the water. "Getting lost sounds even better," another one of her shrugs before she added, "I wouldn't have asked if I didn't think it would be worth my time." It was one of those ways of finding out more about a person without being overt. Like asking their favorite song, or the like. But he didn't seem the sort of man that opened up, and keeping to himself like that? There was always a reason. Even if that reason was a distrust for the general population, as hers was. "Let me guess, they don't have any paddleboats to rent down there, do they?"
