Re: Trailer Park: Brett & Sasha
"Most people who try and force me into conversations change their mind pretty damn quickly." Which did make him wonder why he hadn't chased her off yet. Possibly because she wasn't attempting to be nice, or trying to lead him into being civil. Which perversely meant that he was actually being civil. Wanting work aside, this wasn't being an entirely horrible experience.
"Wouldn't judge you if you did - pay for entertainment, that is." Each to their own. He didn't share it, but he didn't. That would mean allowing someone close - something he didn't do, even if it were nothing more than a commercial exchange. Brett was far too conscious of the ruin that was his body to allow anyone else to see it. "You travel around much then? Or just always stuck to the bigger places - if an actual Main Street is a surprise to you?" Maybe that was unusual. He didn't know, having lived in Repose all his life. He'd travelled out on vacation with his parents, growing up, but not in a way that he'd actually paid attention to the details. "This is kinda how it always is. Not a whole lot happens. Biggest noise is usually from a fight or some shit going down. Nothing that would exactly class as 'entertainment', unless you're the fucked up type that like to watch that shit."
