"Thank you," she said in an exhale of breath, not for the lock, but for agreeing with her about the lock. It was ridiculous to be so paranoid in this tiny town. Not that Sasha trusted easy, but everyone else seemed exceptionally up in arms over it. It was her door. But the comment about her stuff along with his question was met with a nonchalant shrug. "Apparently. My sister asked me to move next to her. Above the Mean-Eyed Cat. I get to have heat now, but zero excuse to be late for work." She leaned back against her car, one clunky boot crossing over the other. "You ever head down there? Or do you stick to this bar?" A thumb jabbed towards the nearby dive, the one with the strippers. "No, let me guess. You have your drinks at home." There may have been a hint of a grin on her face, but it was only really clear in her eyes that crinkled slightly at the corners.
