Re: Flower Girl: Ella & Carver
Carver couldn't take it. That smug smile she kept flashing his way made his blood boil. The perfume of flowers started to suffocate him like smoke quickly filling a kitchen. He turned from her, posture stiff and containing rage that wasn't bred out of fire and earth. No, it resembled bright sunlight shooting through blinds into a dark, dirty room. She laughed and he turned to look at her.
"He loves all of His children, even those who deny His love with every breath." He spoke with conviction, like a good paladin, and was finding it harder and harder to keep from destroying the flowers he was surrounded by. She spoke of love again and it felt like betrayal. Giving her anything about him was foolish, his feelings for the Bellatora made him careless and he took a step towards the door of the shop.
He needed to buy a flower for Temperance to examine, but he couldn't.
"Don't come anywhere near my church." He warned, turning to give her a look of righteous fury before crashing against the store door and leaving before she could say anything that could make him do something rash.
