Re: [B&B: Nimue and Connie]
[Connie smiled and it looked like a Halloween Jack-o-Lantern. A little too wide and teethy to be genuine. She was known for her unsettling smile that rarely really left her face and even when she was in a bad mood it was there. So, this girl. This girl was intense and not at all how Connie imagined a fellow time traveler. Because that's what this was, wasn't? Everything felt blurry like it did around dad and the girl touched the picture like it was a pond she could make ripples in. Connie knew she should have prepared herself for something like this. Maybe she had. Maybe not. Maybe she was relieved there was someone like her. Maybe not. She winked:]
Yeah, I guess I will. [Connie didn't see any other way out of it. Not at the B&B, though. Not in public.] I'm going on break! [She shouted to someone and then shuffled out from behind the desk. Connie looked at the girl.] Okay, kiddo. Shake my hand.
