[On Saturday evening, after a handful of fliers are left around town throughout the week, Webster's Vinyl reopens.

The store is cleaned up and reborn, and it now houses a much larger collection of vintage records than the last time anyone in town can recall it being open. It has odd hours, which only serves to interest the local youth and students from the neighboring university, who drive in to sign up for the once-a-month open mic, which happens on every first Saturday. The store hours state it opens 'in the afternoon' and it closes 'late at night.' Additionally, the store now has an online presence that caters largely to collectors, and which lists a veritable trove of hard-to-find classics. The music playing in the store tends to be eclectic, from old blues to 80s pop, and there are listening stations where loitering is absolutely welcome.
