Corinthian's gone. Janus disappeared. Think he did it of his own free will. Going to stakeout the B&B and see if he comes back. Not injured.

[He started here. Was exhausted. Looked rough from not sleeping, from being tense. Had a few day's growth on his face. Curls were too long and in sweaty disarray. Only stopped long enough to get a book and wash away the scent of sulfur and nightmares. Jeans, faded grey sweatshirt, damp curls at the collar. Let himself into his room. Pulled the chair up by the window and opened the book on his lap. Called for Janus three times, which, Beetlejuice aside, often worked. Names were powerful. Wasn't in a hurry. Atticus was never in a hurry. If this didn't work, he'd try the bus station next. But it was too quiet after all the chaos of the day, and he pulled his phone out of his pocket. Put the phone on speaker, set a playlist on. Lit a cigarette, opened the book on his lap, and read.]

Well this is the best thing ever. I have a cold case full of them now.
