The sound of his name rocked him to his very core, and had they been on terra firma, he might have simply fell backwards in response. Being acknowledged... being seen. That was important, and though this was but a dream, that thread thickened, braided itself with a bit of the strength he had felt just then.
The man cracked a smile, the one that had always been reserved for Seven and Seven alone. It wasn't the shy smile that came with polite conversation. No, this one brought out his dimples, reached up to eyes as blue as the summer sky. He took a step forward, eyes darting to the slip and slide of paper that fell, moving quicker to close the distance between them.
It felt like a lifetime before it was gone, and there was no hesitation as he threw his arms around the other man's neck, burying his face there. "It's you."
