Re: Kit & Tory: Area 52
Kit knew a little of pop culture, he wasn't a shut-in. He'd just had much of the last five years consumed with school and then the delirious sleeplessness of trying to adjust to vast responsibility with what felt like very little competency. As such, he cocked his head to look at Tory, and he reached with long fingers for the coffee cups as the brewing smell got stronger. "Yes, evasion is a common response," he remarked, matter-of-factly. It was true. It was even a little kind.
He smiled. It was a small, considered smile. "I look at trauma response," he said, with the vagueness of someone trying delicately to walk around the limits of an NDA. "Trauma in general. Adrenaline, PTSD, head injury, looking at how the brain reacts to it." There had been a lot of men, in the hospital adjoined to the jail who had experienced trauma of one form or another. "Seeing if it can be replicated artificially, repaired. That kind of thing."
