Re: Dietre A./Hugh C.: On the patio
A slow smile curved Dietre’s lips, it pleased him greatly that Hugh seemed to understand his music even if he didn’t quite understand Hugh’s. “These pieces can say all the things that I’m not able to put into words.” A pause before a little self deprecation. “Obviously I’m not good with words.” Referring to how he clammed up when Hugh suggested questions. “I’m glad you like them…”
The next song Hugh’s played was a little more out of Dietre’s preferences. His ears couldn’t help but key into the synthetic sounds, but he could certainly see how this was dance music. Not his type of dancing though. Talk of movement made him hold onto Hugh a little tighter. “No. No movement.”
“I’m too drunk for movement…” It didn’t seem that bad right at the moment, however Dietre suspected that if he stood he might be unsteady. If there were no other stranglers from the party that would be fine, but he knew there had to be, and he didn’t want to embarrass himself. “You might have to drag me back inside, Hugh.”
“Ummm… But we should probably go back in soon,” he said with some reluctance. He was very cozy at the moment.
