Re: Wandering: Hannah/Fiach
He listened, not a moment of interruption as her tangent flowed. There was a sadness in the room, on their faces, in the very haunch of their bones and it remained untouched; it was fully alive and breathing with every inhalation and Fiach allowed himself to feel it and nor would he deny the sad stranger the same.
Finally, he spoke. "People become uncomfortable, it is true, but it's just as cruel to deny yourself the reality of what and who you are. You don't want to drown in it, you do not want to become so stolen of energy that you lose everything. Like now. I don't think right now you're pretending very much, are you?"
He held up a hand at the apology and shook his head as if to say it's alright, there was no need. "Time is not simple at all, you are correct and there are places in this world where it makes clear its rules are not what people make of it." He smiled faintly. "I can't imagine anyone forgetting you, it is there loss if they cannot see, but that doesn't take away the difficulty of how it feels does it?"
