Re: Mat & Ren || The Docks
It's all so abusrdly dramatic, and Ren practically rolls his eyes at the shirt. It doesn't matter of course. He doesn't have to stay here, and there's nothing keeping him from leaving for home after. There's no one in particular he's there to see and he will talk to Rey later anyway. It was expected, after all.
He just laughs. "I go along with the shit I want to go along with, that can't be that difficult to comprehend. I figured why the fuck not jump in a cold lake, but no, I'm not going along with you fucking up my brain, Miss Evil." There were aspects of his life he might want to forget, but probably not. He liked knowing things, after all, and it irked that someone would be interested in snitching that from him.
Ren decided to take his chance at pulling himself up out of the lake onto the dock, although he went to the end of it rather than directly next to her. He pushed himself up, shook his hair back, and looked at her. "If I'd known you were looking for fighting rather than swimming I could have pushed you in to begin with," he shrugged, and pushed himself up to his feet. It was tempting to reach out to draw the trousers to him, but instead he decided to literally just shake himself off. "Generally speaking I only fight over which milk people put in their coffee."
