Rey could feel those memories in the structure of Hannah's mind, as well: not Dark, not in the way Rey thought of things, but certainly grey and not well-intentioned. Some things aren't Light or Dark, they just are. Maybe this was one of them. But Hannah was right; these memories didn't belong to her. Rey could sense that much. Part of an outside compulsion of some sort.
She was not really meant to be a healer, for all that she'd channelled life force into Atticus. But Rey thought she could do this, or at least she could try. She released one of Hannah's hands, and said, "Hannah, open your eyes and look at me."
